Born in a small town in New Hampshire you have to clarify it’s “close to Nashua,” Cecelia Rose found the world as far as her eyes could see it profoundly boring in contrast to the colorful world of entertainment, art, and imagination. Daydreaming became a childhood hobby, next, a retreat, then a form of escapism, and lastly, the foundation for a hobby of writing. She’s held a hobby of enjoying media in the form of books, movies, comics, and games alike, treasuring the time that allows her to delve into the worlds others create. Alongside that, she enjoys sketching, collecting stuffed animals, and practicing swordsmanship in her spare time, three very common and equally relatable hobbies. Rose writes fantasy, romance, and queer fiction, intertwining the genres to create action, drama, and tension in a variety of unreleased and barely shared drafts which will likely not see the light in any kind of timely manner. Inspired by authors like Rick Riordan and Stephen King, fantasy has always taken the forefront of her imagination when writing, whether it takes the form of whole new worlds, or the reality we know taking a new shape, warped through a new perspective and imagined possibilities. Her works often revolve around identity, transformation, heartwarming bonds, and emotional conflict, attempting to play with old tropes in new and exciting ways which flip them on their heads.
